Online/Text Giving FAQ

Yes! In fact, it is less risky than checks, since checks can be lost, stolen or destroyed. It also has an extremely high rate of accuracy.
Once you register online, the contribution amount you specify will automatically be transferred from your bank account or debit card to the church’s bank account.
Nothing! Additionally, you save the cost of the check.
Absolutely! You can set up a schedule so gifts are deducted from your account on the date that you specify.

Thrive Church is registered as a nonprofit organization. All gifts are tax-deductible.

Personal contribution statements are issued annually for tax purposes.

By accepting credit cards, we are not encouraging a lifestyle of debt. If possible, we would only accept electronic checks and debit cards. However, the major credit card companies prohibit organizations from only taking debit cards. As such, it is impossible for us to prohibit the use of credit cards, while allowing the convenience of debit cards. We encourage all of our contributors to have cash to back their transactions and not to place anything on a credit card for which they do not have the intention or funds to pay-in-full when their monthly statement arrives.
